PackShieldAlert cites Wintermute exploits have 28% of $3CRV after hacking

PeckShieldAlert shared an update on the stolen Wintermute funds in its latest tweet. PackShieldAlert’s community contributor reportedly found that the address designated as Wintermute Exploiter now contains the highest percentage (28%) of $3CRV.

In addition, the crypto platform stated that a $160 million exploit took place at Wintermute in September 2022 and the perpetrator deposited an incredible $114 million on the Curve platform, according to data from Etherscan.

According to the data, Wintermute Exploiter’s wallet address 0x6c3F90f043a72FA612cbac8115EE7e52BDe6E490 holds a total of 111,953,508.959916301101032331 Curve.fi DAI/USDC/USDT tokens out of a total supply of 397,988,859.53 tokens.

PackShieldAlert’s older post suggests that the exploit at @wintermute_t resulted in $160m being stolen, with stablecoins ($DAI, $USDT, $USDC, $USDP) accounting for around 73% of the $118.4m worth of stolen funds, while $WBTC and $ETH accounted for 8% and 6% respectively.

In addition, Etherscan’s data found that the exploiter behind @wintermute_t was the third largest holder of 3CRV tokens at the time, with a value of around $112 million.

In other news, London-based crypto trading platform and liquidity provider Wintermute recently announced its integration with CoinRoutes, a startup that helps crypto hedge funds and other investors get the best possible trading prices.

Through this integration, CoinRoutes’ clients will have more options and flexibility in terms of access to liquidity providers on the platform, Wintermute said in a press release.
